- Miriam Weiner Archival Database. New 2036 records from 773 families with 277 images were added to the database. You can see now records of Jews from towns of Yedinets, Orgeev, and more.

A new way to search for records was created:
The Alphabetical index by Name / Towns.
- Jews involved in public life in Bessarabia. A new set of almost 500 records was completed, and available at Bessarabia SIG website and was sent also to JewishGen, where records will be available soon.
New records are taken from Akkerman Calendar and Kherson Calendar.

- A Family Story: Shaya, A Family Tale: several episodes written by Alan Levitt, Bessarabia SIG Discussion group director. It is about his grandfather Shaya and the Russian army. This is a good example of a family story which helps to understand the environment in which people, especially Jews used to live in the Russian Empire. - Bessarabia Revision Lists. A new set records is planning to complete and send to JewishGen in December of 2018. It includes records from Soroki, Rashkov, Ataki, Valey-lui-Vlad, Izmail, Beltsy and more.

| 06/30/2018 June 2018 Bessarabian Databases. Updates:
- Bessarabia Revision Lists. A new set of 11,485 records from 2,753 families were translated and sent to JewishJen, and now available. The records are from towns of Kishinev, Soroki, Beltsy, Faleshty, Khotin, Akkerman, Aleksandreny colony, Vertuzhany colony and many villages from Akkerman and Soroki uezd. Here is the list.

- A great Family Story: Think Of The Grey: A Wheatman Family History written by Victor S. Wheatman. You will find a terrific research presented with 60+ photos, maps, documents, historical overview of the Bessarabia/Moldova region as well as information about town of Kishinev where Victor's ancestors once lived. I am suggesting to read carefully this family story and use some of the discovery methods in your own research (Yefim Kogan). | 05/31/2018 May 2018 Bessarabian Databases. Updates:
- Bessarabia Revision Lists. We continue working on a large set of records, which will be completed and sent to JewishGen in June of 2018.
Many sets are already translated. Here is the list.
Jewish Cemeteries. Updates:
- We have upgraded the inventory of all cemeteries in Bessarabia/Moldova.
You can see the list from the cemetery section at the website or directly here.
- We have completed photographing and indexing a large Jewish Cemetery in the north of Bessarabia - Novoselitsa. The cemetery has more than 1000 burials. We identified the names of 992 people, including names at the Holocaust memorial (1941). 792 images were also send to JOWBR. 47 images of Unknown graves can be viewed at Bessarabia SIG website at Novoselitsa Cemetery Report.
- Otaci (Ataki) Cemetery report was updated, and now it includes photos and comments from Christian Herrmann, who travelled to Moldova at the end of May, 2018
