General History, Goverments, Maps
Six detailed maps of 1930 were added to the Bessarabia SIG map collection. It included regions of Kishinev, Bendery, Soroki, Bolgrad, Tatarbunar and Khotin with many surrounded towns and shtetlakh.

Research Projects:
=3. Towns and Shtetlakh where Jews lived in Bessarabia (Geographical Dictionary). New version of the dictionary was uploaded to the Bessarabia SIG website. See at Research Projects section.
=9. New KehilaLinks website:
--Khotin website needs a Webmaster and Town Leader!
***Town Leader is a person who is going to coordinate new projects for the town, possible find new projects, resources for the town, organize translation groups for town projects, bring new updates for the Kehila Links website to webmaster to upload.
--Brichany website Town Leader for Brichany is Mitchell C. Sklar (mcsklar@gmail.com). Please send Mitchell information if you want it to be at the Brichany Kehila Links website.
--Brichany website needs a Webmaster!

Jewish Cemeries:
--Bendery, photos of Mass Graves. Courtesy of Serghey Daniliuk, Moldova
--Bendery Cemetery project. About 50% of records are done: 2654 records completed and together with 2364 photographs of gravestones uploaded to JewishGen. They soon will be part of JOWBR at JewishGen.

Towns, Shteitlakh section was updated.

Research Projects:

=9. New KehilaLinks website implemented:
----Camenca, Moldova, Transnistria;

----Bendery, Moldova site was updated.

=23-24. Bendery Cemetery records translating and photographing the tombstones. More than 50% of records are transcribed and 75% of the photographs are taken. Thanks to the group of dedicated people: Claire Suart, Ala Gamulka, Janet Furba, Carol Shkolnik, Paola Khalili, Sasha Berkovich.
Please donate to the project, that we could pay for the photographs of gravestones.

=30. Bessarabia Annual books, 1862-1914. Project was started. Project Leader: Yuriy Daylis. If anyone want to help in translating the books, please let me know.

Bessarabian Databases. New additions:
=Business directory project - 88 were added from 2 communities in Beltsy district: Valea lui Vlad and Varatec.

Landsmanshaften. New additions:
=Akkerman Benevolent Association: Golden Anniversary, 1905-1955. Book published in 1955.
=Updated Table of Bessarabian Landsmanshaften Groups .

Jewish Cemeteries:
=Beltsy cemetery project - photographing and indexing graves.
The phase 1 of the project was compelted and 422 records with photographs were sent to JewishGen/JOWBR.

Genealogical Conferences:
=32nd IAJGS INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON JEWISH GENEALOGY JULY 15 - 18, 2012.
Texts of four presentations, and photos from the conference in Paris.
