Mititei

1 lb or over ground beef
parsley flakes
1 tsp each garlic and salt
ΒΌ tsp pepper
oregano shakes.
Mix all of the above with the beef. Dissolve one knife tip of bicarbonate of soda in a half cup of water, add water to beef and knead thoroughly until well mixed. Let stand overnight in the refrigerator.
Next day prepare mititei half the length and the thickness of a hot dog (more or less).
Freeze until ready to use. Defrost and best done on the grill but can also be broiled in the oven.
