"GET MESUDAR":  SEARCH THE OLD KINUIM

This data base contains a full set of the Subsidiary ("Old", mostly Yiddish) names, and the Primary names to which they are linked, which appear in the Hilchot Gitin book "Get Mesudar", written by Rabbi Elazar Mintz at the beginning of the 20^th century.  You can search for any kinui, and see a record which lists all of the Primary names to which the kinui is linked.  Alternatively, you can search for any Primary name, and see a series of records each containing it along with the other kinuim to which the Primary name is linked.  For the most part, the names in this data base apply to Germany or Poland, with occasional application to other regions where Ashkenazi Jews lived.
