Services are currently held in Canada Villa Youth Cantre, Mill Hill

Current Status:


Date Formed:

The community held its inaugural Friday night service in Summer 2016 and its inaugural Shabbat morning service was held on 18 February 2017, attended by over 100 people. (An initial open meeting was held in May 2016 to discuss formation of the community.) (i)


Ashkenazi Orthodox


The Community began as a fledgling congregation of the United Synagogue, whose Council in March 2018 voted in favour of accepting the Community as a full member with effect from 1 April 2018.(ii) (See also Mill Hill Synagogue)

Rev. Bentzi Mann (and Michal Mann) - (Part-time) from October 2018 until presemt (July 2021)(iii)

Charitable Status:

As a constituent of the United Synagogue, the congregation operates within that organisation's registered charity status (registered charity no. 242552).

Local Government District:

Mill Hill, a residential suburb in Northwest London just to the east of Edgware, is in the London Borough of Barnet (formed 1965).
