In 1973, the congregation
merged with two other congregatiions to form the
Newcastle United Hebrew Congregation.
However, Eskdale Terrace continued to serve as one of the synagogues
(and from 1984 to 1986 the only synagogue) of the united congregation,
until its closure in 1986. |
