The Third Action

Memorial to Volozhin Jews

The Volozhinka Streambed

This Memorial to Volozhin Jews was erected in 1987 on the Site of the 3^rd Volozhin Jews slaughter, on Volozhinka left shore, inside the streambed by Miriam and Max Cuker with the help of Sane Lavit. In the third action, in August 1942 the last 200-300 Volozhin Jews have been murdered. The text:

“In memory of 3000 Volozhin Jews, bestially murdered By the German Nazis and their assistants
in 1941-1944 years, peace to their soul”
