The Family History Center of the Mormon Church is an excellent source of genealogical data. Members of the church have photographed the birth, marriage, and death records from much of Europe and the rest of the world, including Jewish records. Records available can be seen online at their Family Search. It is most useful if you know what town your ancestors came from and can search for that town. Once records of interest have been found, they can be ordered at a family history center for a small charge (about $5). They can be viewed at the centers, and people are always available there to help.
The local Family History Center is at 1424 Maple Road in Williamsville, behind the Mormon Church (phone: 716-688-2439).
