Street Locations:

Ashfield Street (formerly Rutland Street) lies to the east of New Road, in the London East End, and runs east-west for about one-quarter mile parallel to, and just to the south of, Stepney Way (formerly known as Oxford Street).

Sidney Street, to the east of Ashfield Street, runs north, for about a third of a mile, from Commercial Road (A13) to the junction of Cambridge Heath Road (A107) with Whitechapel Road and Mile End Road (A11). It is parallel to Jubilee Street, to the east, and Cavell Street, to the west.

Lower Chapman Street no longer exist and its approximate position is that of present-day Bigland Street. It ran east for about 900 feet from Canon Street Road, parallel to, and about 400 feet to the north of, Upper Chapman Street (now Chapman Street).
