(Location: The area of Fenton Street in London's East End has been redeveloped and Fenton Street (Upper and Lower) no longer exists today. Upper Fenton Street extended some 500 feet south from Commercial Road, about 600 feet east of Cannon Street Road, almost opposite Philpot Street, running parallel with Anthony Street (to the West) and Buross Street (to the East). Lower Fenton Street was a short road (200 feet long) running west-east at the southern end of Upper Fenton Street.)

Previously, Fenton Street was in the Metropolitan Borough of Stepney (established 1900) within the County of London (established 1889), both of which entities were abolished in 1965. It had also been in the civil parish of St George in the East (established 1729), which was abolished in 1927 to be absorbed into Stepney Borough parish, which was abolished 1965.
