An affiliated synagogue of the United Synagogue from 1949, becoming  a district synagogue in 1959, and subsequently became constituent synagogue.

Local Government Districts:

The suburb of Kenton in Northwest London strands two London Boroughs, the London Borough of Brent (the south, in which the synagogue is situated) and the London Borough of Harrow (the north), both created on 1 April 1965 within the administrative area of Greater London.

The southern part of Kenton was previously in the former Municipal Borough of Wembley  (which was an urban district from 1894, being incorporated as a borough in 1937) in the former County of Middlesex, both of which entities were abolished in 1965.
