Date Formed:

The synagogue (the oratory) opened in 1956. It was designed by Ernst Freud architect, the son of Sigmund Freud.⁽ⁱⁱⁱ⁾

Status:

The synagogue closed in 1979, when the hospital site, with the synagogue, was sold for redevelopment. The London Independent Hospital with a frontage on Beaumont Square now occupies the site.^(iv)
