BRYNMAWR

Published Data

1901[b]

Jewish population, about 30 families.
Synagogue, Heath (founded 1886). Seatholders, about 50. Income 1898  £66, expenditure £69. The new synagogue was opened by Mr. O. E. d'Avigdor Goldsmid on June 20th, 1900 and consecrated by the Chief Rabbi.
Hebrew school, 48 Bailey Street (founded) 1895). The scholars number 12 boys and 4 girls..
