2,527 headstones.
Hill Top Cemeteries - includes records for 2,953
identified burials,
from 1875 to 1970 but with a few later burials, including photographs of
2,818 headstones.
New Farnley Cemeteries - includes records for 9,045
identified burials, from
1896 to mid-February 2024, including photographs of 7,970 headstones.
Sinai (Reform) Synagogue Cemetery - comprises records for 336 burials,
from the early 1950s to June 2014, including photographs of 324 headstones.
UHC Cemetery - includes records for 7,105
identified burials, from 1840 to
mid-February 2024, including photographs of 5,313 headstones.
Details of the information provided for each of the cemeteries can be found via any of the individual links given above.
This also enables the burials within each cemetery to be examined in detail.
The purpose of this web-page is to allow the direct selection of any burial for display, irrespective of which Leeds cemetery that burial took place.
Information for any individual
may be displayed by first selecting the appropriate surname letters from the list below and then selecting the
required name from its corresponding drop-down list. Navigation to the next or previous burial plot in the
Section/Row is achieved by clicking the appropriate link on the individual burial page.
Grave locations (accurate to about a metre) can be
displayed on a Google satellite image via the button provided on each burial page.
Note that, although the grave location will always be identified, the image may not contain details
of some of the most recent row additions to the cemetery.
