9/23/2026 4:54 PM Translation help requested for entry no. 141 in this Vilna family or household register. Source: Lithuanian State Historical Archives (LVIA), fond 938, inventory 10, file 442, page 37 according to the archive filename.

Please transcribe the entry's full name and patronymic, the household and other reference numbers, and the related text across both pages. Please explain what the adjacent years and dates label. Most importantly, please transcribe the later handwritten annotation that may include “28 April 1895”: whose event does it describe, and what word follows the date? Please do not infer that this is the household head's birth date unless the wording says so.

If the visible page number differs from 37, please tell me what you read. A partial transcription marking uncertain words is more useful than a guessed complete translation. Thank you.

9/23/2026 4:53 PM Please provide a full line-by-line translation of this 1904 Russian death act for Tewel Kielman Libel (act 22, Krasnobrod). Please include every name and patronymic, marital phrase, parents, spouse, age, occupation, residence, dates, witnesses/informants, relationships, and marginal notes. Does the act use both Tewel and Kielman as given names, and does anything indicate when or how Tewel was acquired? Earlier records identify his 1830 birth and 1858 marriage under Kielman alone. 9/23/2026 4:53 PM Attached is a registration card relating to the family of my great-grandmother Itta Laja Rzetelna. I have yet to encounter a registration card so abundant in corrections and notes. She was the daughter of Chaim Zyskind Rzetelny and Golda Chaja Brzytwa/Brytwa. The date of April 09, 1917 noted to the right is the date of Chaim's passing. I intend to upload yet another Rzetelny registration card which may or may not be related to this particular family. Would like to receive your assistance in translation. Thank you; Hatimah Tovah! 9/23/2026 4:53 PM Attached is a registration card relating to a Rzetelny family which may be connected to the family of my great-grandmother Itta Laja Rzetelna. Only now have I discovered that her father, Chaim Zyskind Rzetelny, was first married to another woman and, a year after her passing, married Itta's mother.

It is quite probable that the family described in this card is Chaim's first family. They seem to have moved from Kaluszyn to Lodz as well, and one of their addresses noted in the card is identical to that of the other family: 8/3 Aleksandrowska st.

Your assistance in the translation of the document will be appreciated. Thank you; Hatimah Tovah!

9/23/2026 4:53 PM From Szukaj w Archiwach.

Akta 70 is my great-great-grandfather’s first-cousin’s 1854 birth record from Łomza, Łomza, Poland. I would be grateful if someone could translate it in full (or at least everything that isn’t the standard wording of a birth record).

Names that I would expect to see in the text are:
- the child: Herszk Szapsa KWIATOWICZ;
- his father: Mordka Michel, son of Szapsa KWIATOWICZ & Sura Ryfka;
- his mother: Leja, daughter of Abraham WAJNTROB & Mirka Idźkowicz.

Thanks so much! Hopefully the handwriting isn’t too hard to read.

9/23/2026 4:52 PM Please provide a complete line-by-line English translation of this 1900 Russian death act (Krasnobrod act 21) for Riwka LIBEL. Include every name and patronymic, marital status/phrase, any husband name or reference, parents, age, occupation, residence, exact dates, informants/witnesses and their relationships, plus any marginal notes. Key question: does the act identify her husband or otherwise tie her to Chaim Ber MILC? Source: Polish State Archives, Krasnobrod Jewish civil register. View the post with its 1 response

9/23/2026 4:51 PM Handwritten postcard (French “Carte Postale” stock) in Yiddish, dated 1923 (appears to read “…1923 года…”, ~28 May 1923), from the Lindenboim/Lindenbaum family of Rybnytsya (Rîbnița), then Podolia/Bessarabia. I would be very grateful for a full transcription and English translation — especially any personal names, dates, and place names. This appears to be family correspondence sent to relatives in the United States. This is a contrast-enhanced version of a dense, faded original (unaltered original available on request). A companion postcard from the same correspondence, dated 12 February 1923, is posted separately. Thank you very much. View the post with its 1 response

9/20/2026 3:01 PM Please translate this Russian-language Jewish civil birth record in full, including all dates, ages, occupations, addresses, witnesses, and signatures. It is act 76 for Boruch Hersz Wajnryb, Piotrkow Trybunalski, 1885. The Polish Geneteka index identifies his parents as Pinkus Zelik Wajnryb and Maria Goldsztajn, but please read the original independently and note any discrepancy.
