The Congregation commenced life as an
offshoot of
Cockfosters and N Southgate Synagogue
in the mid 1990s,
when Jewish inhabitants of the Hadley Wood area joined together to hold
services in members' homes. Later services were also held, particular on
High Holy, in other facilities, including Hadley Wood Junior School,
until the congregation acquired its own premises in 2002/3. The
congregation continued to be a satellite congregation of the Cockfosters
and N Southgate Synagogue until it become a independent congregation in
2012.
