The congregation is considered part of the
"South Manchester" Jewish community. Hale Barns is in the extreme south-east of the metropolitan borough of
Trafford (within the metropolitan county of Greater Manchester,
which no longer has any administrative powers). From 1900 to 1974, Hale
Barns was part of the Hale Urban District within the county of Cheshire. |

Information: |
The congregation uses the Jewish section of the Dunham Lawn Cemetery,
Whitehouse Lane, Dunham-Massey.
There is an independent burial scheme for members of the congregation
