AKT #1059. This is the death record of my great great grandfather, Itic SMIL, recorded in Iasi, Romania in 1889.
I am interested in any and all information including his age, an exact date of death, parent's names, witnesses, and I believe I see his wife's name (Mishka).

Death Certificate
Issued on December 4, 1889 at 10 a.m. Death certificate of Mr. Itzic Shmil, 60 years old of Jewish faith married to Mrs.Mishca and residing in district IV. Passed away the day before yesterday, December 2, 5 p.pm in his house, 20 Arapul st. Witnesses were Mr. Iosup Ludarcer, 60 years old residing in district IV and Mr. Iancu sin Iosip, 51 years old, shoemaker residing in district V. The witnesses declared that the deceased asked to be buried in the Jewish cemetery in Podgoria Copou (Vineyard region of Copou, my note). They undersigned this certificate after being read by us together with Mr. Cristia Bucliu, medic and death inspector residing in district III who attested this case of death. Issued by us, Dimitrie A. Greceanu, Deputy Mayor and Civil Status Officer, Iasi. The second witness does not know how to write.
