I would like the tombstone translated. I am looking for Solomon's father.

mr shalom barukh son of mr yisrael
died 30 tishrei [year]
may his soul be bound up in the bond of life”

note: even though the gregorian year is 1953 (or 1933), the hebrew and gregorian dates don’t match, by 1 or 2 weeks. presumably, you have a better source for the date of his death.

If you look closely, you can see that the civil date is October 15, 1955 (not 1953), and the Jewish calendar date is the 30th of Tishrei 5716. This Jewish date corresponds to October 16, 1955, which means that the deceased died on the 15th in the evening, after dark.
