May this memorial stone for my Father

Yitzchak Pogrund, who died at the age of 77 years
He was a learned Jew, very religious and very loved in his home Shtetl,
Abell and environs. He took part in the communal activity of the Shtetl
and helped all the Shtetl institutions. He married off all his children.
The youngest daughter married a young man from the Slabodker
Yeshiva who lifted the spirit of the Jewish population in Abell.

For my Mother who died at the age of 77 years
She was the daughter of Eliyahu Zvi Peres
from Kupishok and was an educated and respected woman

For our Brothers: Meier and Zalman and Sister Tzileh

Apart from those from the Lithuanian Communities who were saved
before the Holocaust, the children and the whole extended family
perished with all the Jews of Lithuania
