In 1945, with the help of the Soviet government,
the Jews erected a headstone for the annihilated of Zarasai District.
In this forest location, 8,000 Jews from Zarasai-Novo-Alexandrovsk,
Dusiat, Antalept, Salok, Dukszti, Rimshan and Turmont lie in long graves.
