A county town, about 11 km southeast of Vilkaviskis, the district's city.
Written by Josef Rosin
Translated by Shaul Yannai
194 residents lived in Laukeliskiai in 1867. 17 Jews lived among the town's 289 inhabitants in 1923. In 1941, when Germany conquered Lithuania, the fate of the Jews of Laukeliskiai was the same as the fate of the Jews in the surrounding areas.
