In Yiddish, Zudz
A small village near Ramygala in the district of Panevezys. In 1889, a few Jewish families lived in Zudz. One night, a girl of 15 was kidnapped and taken to the priest to convert her religion. The girl was returned to her family after the police intervened in the matter.
