In Yiddish, Vadukle A county town in the Panevezys district, 8 km east of Ramygala. In 1850, Jews owned in the town 7 homes and a tavern. In 1909, Jews bought from baron Haf, an estate owner, four additional homes. Until WWI, Jews had control of all the businesses in the town. In 1923, there were 79 Jews in Vadokliai. Their Rabbi was Rabbi Khaim Volk. In 1941, the Jews of Vadokliai, as the rest of the Jews of Lithuania, were murdered by the Germans and their Lithuanian collaborators.
