Regardless of our limited numbers, we have managed to grow and reach a level of which we can be proud. The leaders of our organization have taken care that our name shines in the Jewish community. At all levels of our organization, we have never been shy of work and we have collected thousands of dollars for our relief aims!
We should also mention the care we provide for our members who are legally entitled to sickness benefits, support when in need, or help in any other area. In all honesty, we are uniquely accomplished in this respect.
It is a pity that a lot of you who live in neighboring towns, such as the Bronx and Brooklyn, and for whom it is so easy to get to our meeting hall, have not taken the opportunity to join our organization. You have thus lost the great pleasure of meeting the landsleit and, most important, you have lost the opportunity to belong to an organization that offers all the privileges and benefits that employers' organizations do. And with us, you pay only half as much... .
We will shortly start with the preparations for the celebrations of our 50-year jubilee. It is our wish to be able to count 500 members by then. Reaching this goal depends on you. With your help and the help of your children, we can easily reach this number.
Our continuing relief activities have not lagged. After World War I we played a very significant role in organizing, and in later directing, relief activities [in Visoke]. Our members have always been the banner bearers, even when the name of our organization was not on the banner.
With the establishment of the United Relief, many of us recognize what it means to have organizational power. We became the backbone of the movement. We are not exaggerating when we say that without the participation of the Wisoko Society, the relief would nowadays be a fiasco... .
In name of all the members, we send you all our heartiest greetings and best wishes for much success.

and a little History of How the Relief was Organized. On October 15th, 1944 we founded the United.Wisoko-Litowsker and Woltchiner Relief and held the first meeting. In 3 weeksNovember 5th to be exactwe called a meeting of the landsleit and enlisted their aid. Before a month had passed we had collected the small sum of $574.00. Following this we had a series of card parties through which we raised another $800.00. In early 1947 through the courtesy of the Wisoko Litowsker B. U. Verein we made an appeal at their Banquet and through donations we raised $1000. A committee on a recent trip to Chicago raised an additional $250.00 from the landsleit living there.
