Rav Israel Meir Lau, the Chief Rabbi of Tel Aviv and the son of the last Rabbi
of Piotrkow accepts the replica of the Great Synagogue from the artist at the
48th annual commemoration of the martyrdom of 28,000 Jewish souls from
Piotrkow Trybunalski in October 1990 in Tel Aviv.
