After their immigration the house was purchased by the Jewish school principal Hillel Schwartz and his wife Ella (Slep)

Batya and her brother Jack Milun (third and fourth from right) were born in Dusiat, and lived in this house till their immigration to South Africa. 70 years later they returned for a visit together with their children: Dov (son of Batya) – on the left, Rochelle and her brother Mike (children of Jack) on the right.

Batya Yardeni (Milun): My dear aunt Sara Milun lived with us in this house till her marriage. She moved to Ponevez [Panevejys] and gave birth to five children. A visa to South Africa arrived for all of them just before WWII broke out. No one in this family survived the Holocaust.
