This is the reverse of a photograph of an unknown woman. The date, judging by her dress, might be the second half of the 19th century. If the printing includes the location of the photographer,it might help to identify her. It is probably in the Ukraine (Russia). There are apparently two words in Yiddish in the upper left corner that might include her name.

Please translate the inscriptions on the tomb stones of Jacob and Mollie Schecter. I realize that the lower part of both stones is obscured. Thank you. |

We were told this is a Romanian cradleboard. Is it possible to identify its region based on its decoration? |

This is Ghenendal Weisman. She was supposedly married to a Louis (Lewis) WEISMAN. She is supposed to be from Craiova in Romania. Is the wig she is wearing a cultural tradition or a Jewish tradition and why was it worn? |

This is the back of a photo that we know the gentleman named Rubin but I don't know what else it says and wondered if someone knew. There are two women in the photo that we don't know. Hoping maybe the other writing are their names. Maybe Yiddish or Romanian. |
