I can read the German, but not the Hebrew characters (I'm assuming it's Yiddish?)

On  Response
4/21/2023 7:35 AM LARGE HEBREW LETTERS: In the month of Iyyar
Next row: on the 26th day in the month of Iyyar in the year 5687 (Since G-d created the world) on the Shabbos that Parshas Bamidbar is read (in the Torah) and the (imminent) New Month of Sivan is blessed.
Bottom row: My father, Michel son of Yisrael Tzvi son of Shlomo the Levite.

Observation:
The deceased must have been a very special person or have done a special mitvah or mitvot in his life, being as he merited passing away on Shabbos. According to our tradition the Gates of Gehenom-hell are closed on Shabbos thus anyone who dies, their souls enter directly into Gan Eden. When that happens we generally wait until after the Shabbos ends Saturday night after dark to bury the deceased. Burials are not done on Shabbos. According to biblical tradition, Great Pious and Holy Jewish leaders like Joseph, Moses and King David all died on the Shabbos.
