Please identify the exact birth and registration dates; the child’s full name; both parents’ full names (including the mother’s maiden surname), ages, occupations, residence and birthplaces; and all witnesses, declarants and marginal notes. Preliminary, unconfirmed reading may involve Wolf Gitman and Idesa Tuchsznajder. Please say whether this household matches the 1886 act submitted separately. Состоялось в посаде Бискупице 9/21 февраля 1885 года в 9 часов утра.
Явился лично старозаконный Leizor Hitman/Лейзор Гитман, портной, 36 лет, живущий в посаде Бискупице, и в присутствии свидетелей старозаконных Нуссен Бурштин,[кримажа], 51 год и Янкель Гольдбург, школьника,46 лет, в посаде Бискупице живущих, и предъявили нам младенца мужского пола, объявляя ,что он родился в посаде Бискупице 2/14 февраля текущего года (1885 года) в 8 часов утра от его жены Ханы из Ледерманов (девичья фамилия Ледерман), супругов Гитманов,30 лет.
Младенцу этому при обрезании дано имя Хаим Гитман.
Акт этот присутствующему и свидетелям прочитан, нами и ими подписан.
Отец объявил, что писать не умеет.
Чиновник Гражданского состояния.

Took place in the posad Biskupice on February 9/21, 1885, at 9 a.m.
The old-law Leizor Hitman/Leizor Hitman, a tailor, 36 years old, living in Biskupice Posad, appeared personally, and in the presence of witnesses, the old-law Nussen Burshtin, 51 years old and Yankel Goldburg, a schoolboy,46 years old, living in Biskupice Posad, and presented us with a male baby, declaring that he was born in Posad Biskupice on February 2/14 of this year (1885) at 8 a.m. from his wife Hana of Lederman (maiden name Lederman), the Gitmans, 30 years old.
This infant was given the name Chaim Gitman at the time of circumcision.
This document was read to those present and to the witnesses, and signed by us and them.
The father declared that he could not write.
Civil Registry Office official.
