		 Dispute: |

Following the death of Rabbi A.S. Stern, shortly after the
relocation of the yeshiva from Great Offley to Stamford Hill, there was a dispute between current
Rabbi Chaim Y. Babad and the children of Rabbi A.S. Stern regarding
the leadership of the Toras Chessed yeshiva. The Din Torah
(religious court) awarded the leadership to Rabbi Babad. There was also
a dispute regarding control of the land in Great Offley, where the
yeshiva had previously been situated and where a yeshiva had been
established by Rabbi A.S. Stern's brother. See
		here. |
