Rev. Gary Newman - Community Welfare Minister of the congregation from its establishment in January 2015 (he had been the minister of Newbury Park Synagogue) until October 2016 and then senior rabbi until the congregation's merger in May 2019.(ix)

Prior to 1965, Ilford was in the former Municipal Borough of Ilford (which was an urban district until 1926) in the county of Essex.
