A  -  In 1851 there were 30 appropriated seats here and 25 in attendance at service. The estimate of population was 100.

1874[a]

Congregation founded 1848. Present synagogue erected 1853. Has seat accommodation for 93 persons, 60 gentlemen's seats, 33 ladies'. Seat rental from £5.4s to £1.6s per annum. The congregation numbers 238 persons. Income of year 1872, £170. expenditure of year 1872, £180. There is no Jewish school.

1901[b]

1900 - 1 marriage, 10 deaths.
Synagogue, Church Street. Seatholders, 27.
