The
burial grounds generally used by this congregation were at the New
Farnley Cemeteries, which had been the burial grounds used by the
Leeds New Central
Synagogue.
However from 1955 until 1962,
burials for former
Vilna Synagogue
members took place at the Hill Top Cemeteries provided that a spouse had
already been laid to rest there.
The relevant sections of the
New
Farnley Cemeteries are now administered by
the
Etz Chaim Synagogue. For details see
Cemetery Information
on Leeds Jewish Community home page.
