Coventry Jewish Reform Community

The congregation holds services at the Friends Meeting House in Coventry and in members’ homes.⁽ⁱⁱ⁾

It had for several years shared the facilities of Barras Lane Synagogue with the Coventry Hebrew Congregation. Unfortunately this arrangement ceased with synagogue building sadly falling into a state of disrepair.⁽ⁱⁱ⁾

Formed in October 1993, primarily through the efforts of Dr. Martin Been, who became the congregation's lifetime President.⁽ⁱⁱⁱ⁾

Reform

An associate community of the Movement for Reform Judaism (formerly the Reform Synagogues of Great Britain).^(iv)

The congregation is a registered charity (no. 1063331), registered on 8 August 1997. The governing document is the congregation's constitution of 10 December 1995.^(vi)
