Jewish Year Books were
published annually from 1896/7 through 2015, except from the war
years 1941 to 1945.
Since 1909, the year books were generally published towards the end of the year
prior to year appearing in such year book's title (e.g. Jewish
Year Book 1920 would have been published in 1919). It has been assumed that the
term of office of an officer, as listed here, commenced in the year of
publication of the relevant year book and continued until the commencement
of office of his successor. However, it should be noted that this is
only an assumption and accordingly the actual years of office may
differ slightly from those shown here. However, it should be noted

In some instances, where the Jewish Year Books only provided initials, an officer's full name has been obtained from sources.

The title
President was used from 1896 through 1910 and from 1931 through 1940;
and Presiding Warden was used from 1915 through 1931 and from 1945 through 1950.

Mr. M. H. Henriques also served as chazan (cantor) / reader of the congregation from 1896 to about 1921.

Mr. (later Rev.) Moses Besso also served the congregation as assistant reader (1918 to about 1924); reader (about 1924 to about 1934) and assistant minister (about 1934 to at least about 1940).

Prof Theodores who, together with Rev. Dr. Schiller-Szenessy, were the two most active founders of the congregation. He served as its congregation's presiding warden.

Mr. Behrend is listed as Treasurer in the Jewish Directory for 1874 by Asher I. Myers.

Based upon Mr. Salzedo's appointment as Beadle, as per Council of Founders' minutes
dated 15 July 1896, at a salary of 16 sillings (now 80 pence) per
week, and his last listing as Beadle in Jewish Year Book 1924.
(He was also listed as Sexton in Jewish Year Books 1915 through 1919.)
