a Hinckley Hebrew Congregation was formed. Services are held at this address.
All those interested should communicate with Mr. Fisher.”

HINCKLEY.—The opening ceremony of the Jewish Youth Centre was held at Highcliffe, Derby Road (by permission of the St. John Ambulance Brigade), last week.
Mr. L. Fisher, President of the Congregation, who presided, pointed out that the Centre was primarily intended to provide social and recreational facilities
for Jewish serving men and women in H.M. Forces, as well as for the Jewish Youth of Hinckley. The meeting was addressed by speakers on behalf of the Ministry,
the Town Council, and the Army. The Secretary is Mr. J. Cohen, 121, Wykin Lane.

In accordance
with a resolution duly passed at the final meeting of remaining members of the
Hinckley Hebrew Congregation, all remaining funds have been donated to the
following two worthy causes in Israel: 20 gns. for the purchase of an avenue of
trees in the Selig Brodetsky Forest; 22 gns. to the W.I.Z.O. Children’s Home in
Jerusalem.
