Bristol Jewish Literary and Dramatic Societies
Prior to World War II, the Bristol Jewish Community had thriving Literary and Dramatic
Societies. Their active members included Muriel Epstein, later to marry
Ernie Morris and Helen Strimer, later to marry Sidney Bloom and become
Bristol's first Jewish Lord Mayor. This section provides a sample of
the prorammes from productions in the period 1925 - 1936.
