Selected Press Reports relating to
Mr. S. Fink (President) gave an address
in Hebrew. Mr. A. Finestone, of St. Annes, proposed the
success of the congregation. Mr. Bert. Adler (Hon. Secretary)
responded. Messrs. Barres and Inerfield moved and seconded
a resolution (which was adopted) welcoming the formation of
the Synagogue and children's classes. Other speakers included
Messr. S. Green. J. A. Hamwee (St. Annes), Mrs. Bardiger,
and Mr. M. Kravitz.
The following were elected: Messrs. S. Fink, President:
J. Barres, Vice-President: D. Berkovitch.
Treasurer: M. Brickman. Warden: Bert Adler (9, Oxford Road), Hon. Secretary;
and M. Kravitz, J. Diner, M. Jeager, I. Cohen, and S. Green,
Committee. The Ladies' Committee consists of Mesdames
Bardiger, President; Mendelson, Vice-President; B. Adler,
Treasurer; and J. R. Diner (48, Palatine Road), Hon. Secretary.
The classes meet on Sundays (10 a.m. to 12) and Tuesdays
and Thursdays (4.30 to 6.30 p.m.).
