Discussions are encouraged on historical, political, religious, and social issues which affected the activities of our ancestors and enable us to understand their lives in the contexts of their times.

To maintain an Internet web site on JewishGen which provides a permanent home for new information, searchable databases, and other resources. The web site also provides links to other web sites of significant importance to German Jewish researchers.

To encourage and support the discovery and preservation of primary sources of German Jewish genealogical data and its dissemination through databases.
