The JGSI Jewish Illinois Database is provided by the Jewish Genealogical Society of Illinois (www.jgsi.org) to complement Illionois cemetery records in JOWBR and yahrzeit plaque records already on www.Jewishgen.org. The Database contains a composite of obituaries, biographies, institutional, and organizational records. For a list of collections and more information on JGSI’s tools for researching Illinois Jewish roots, visit https://jgsi.org/research_items or email jjcd@jgsi.org. Additional records will be added.

Fields for this index are GIVEN NAME, SURNAME, BIRTH, DEATH, BURIAL, NOTES, IMAGES, and COLLECTION.
