The MJC was founded 1926. It suspended operations in 2012. The building may house a religious school in the future but was awaiting renovation at the time the pictures were taken in 2021. The names of the deceased in the Book of Life were taken from MJC’s memorial tablets, Golden Book of Life and other sources. Some plaques had been previously removed by family members. With the help of D Brenner, W Burstein, E Friedman, A Gershon-Palma, J Gershon, Rabbi M Glazer, S Kohl, R Kovel, and R Speicher.
