The Jeff Malka Sephardic CollectionProminent Jews in Egypt (1942 – 1943)
BACKGROUND Only 2 yearbooks of Egyptian Jewry were published: the first in 1942 and the last one in 1943. They were published in the same spirit as the "Jewish Year Book" of Great Britain although here the period was that of WW II. DATABASE This database consists of 189 prominent Egyptian Jews. The database was prepared by Mathilde Tagger from “Annuaire des Juifs d'Egypte 1942 & 1943”. The fields in the database are:
