The cemetery records of the Caracas Jewish community were provided by the Asociacion Israelita de Venezuela (the Sephardic Jewish community in Venezuela) with the help of Alberto Moryusef Fereres. The records are provided for two Cemeteries in Caracas: The Cementerio General del Sur located at Avenida Principal del Cementerio (Municipio Libertador) and the Cementerio del Este located at La Guairita (Municipio Bruta). The Cementerio General del Sur contains two Jewish sections, both closed, and the Cementerio del Este contains one Jewish section currently in use.
Venezuelan records were obtained by the Sephardic Heritage Project (sephardicheritageproject.org) for posting on JewishGen.
