According to the cemetery plaque attached to the cemetery arch, the Theodore Herzel Cemetery Association was founded in 1918. Burials in this small cemetery range from 1924 to 2013. Some of the original lettering can be seen on small cement and metal posts. Lettered rows begin at the back fence. There is one overturned headstone at Row H (Row 2 Right) Plot 5 and 6. There are also two children's headstones at the corner of the cemetery which may have shifted location from the adjacent cemetery, Linas Hatzedek Cemetery #1, but are included here.
