This was once a private cemetery, later annexed to Greenwood Cemetery. It is now called the Hebrew or Jewish Addition and is now managed by the City of Muscatine.
The Hebrew Cemetery Plat was surveyed by J.J. Ryan, Engineer, and filed for record in July 1894 at the Muscatine County Recorder’s Office.
Description: - Commencing at the NW cor. of Out Lot 13 of the Sub-Division of Sections 2 & 3 Township 76 - Range 2 West; Thence S. 79 1/2 East along North Line of said Lot 13 - 5 70/100 chs. Thence South 31/100 chs.; thence N. 791/2 degrees W. 5 70/100 chs. Thence North 1 31 / 100 chs. to the place of beginning.
