A small Jewish cemetery occupying only five lots in the southwest corner of New Mount Ida Cemetery in Troy, specifically Cemetery Drive 84-86-88-90-91, partly surrounded by a short garden fence. Congregation Chai Adam seems to have been formed around 1888, reorganized in 1899, merged with Beth Israel Bikur Cholim in 1908 which in turn merged with Shaare Tephilah in 1961 to form Beth Tephilah. Beth Tephilah in 1968 would also absorb Beth Jacob of Cohoes. The identifiable dates of death herein range from 1889 to 1908. Chai Adam seems to have bought a much larger cemetery in Brunswick on Spring Avenue in or prior to 1906, a cemetery now named Beth Tephilah Cemetery. In addition to the eleven graves listed here there might be others with buried markers, or unmarked.
