With regard to the two smaller cemeteries maintained by Agudat Achim (not included in this database as of 1/2012): 1) The Workmen's Circle Cemetery was part of the Workmen's Circle movement. It closed its organization in the area due to loss of membership. The cemetery is surrounded by wrought-iron gates. 2) The Adath Israel Cemetery was established in the second or third decade of the 20th century when the Agudat Achim rabbi and some followers established Adath Israel, a primarily Russian-Jewish congregation. The large wrought-iron gates at the Adath Israel cemetery have been stolen. There is an unused chapel on the Adath Israel grounds. Adath Israel closed due to loss of membership and Agudat Achim took over responsibility for maintaining their grounds. For the Agudat Achim records included here, the row designated 'Row 1' is the row closest to the outside perimeter or fence of the cemetery, and 'Plot 1' is generally the northernmost plot within a row. For the irregularly-oriented BN section of north-south burials, 'Row 1' is the northernmost row and 'Plot 1' is the westernmost plot.
