The Mt. Carmel Cemetery grave indexing project is made available thanks to the efforts of Eagle Scout, Ian Montgomery. Ian identified this cemetery as a good choice for his Eagle Scout project. He and his fellow scouts worked at removing trash, as well as cutting and trimming bushes which had overgrown the graves. As part of the project, Ian worked on identifying the names of those buried in the cemetery. Ian was able to locate several moldy cemetery ledgers which he scanned and used for the indexing.
