The cemetery of Temple House of Israel is located on a small and beautiful plot just outside the center of town. There is a gate with a sign at the entrance and a small building located on the grounds. The cemetery was purchased in 1886 and the first burial took place in 1887. Tombstone readings were taken in October 1996 by Julian H. Preisler of Falling Waters, Berkeley County, West Virginia.
